Installing it is highly not recommended. Code Injection Downloader 1.00 description by publisher: Vendor: ´This is a test release of a VB6 web downloader that uses interprocess memory injection on windows 2000 & XP. (similar to the injection process that BO2K used, & others later termed as ´firewall bypass´) This serves 2 purposes: - The application does not show up in the active process list - The application will inquire for internet access under the name of the application it was injected into rather than it is own. When launched, the server: - displays a fake error message (optional) - extracts & runs bound file (optional) - disable Norton & McAfee AV (2000 & XP) - attempts to inject into Kazaa (2000 & XP) - If Kazaa isn´t running, it then injects into browser - The server then downloads the remote file, renames it to .exe & executes it. - Delete´s itself from disk (continues to run in memory.) - on 9x boxes, it hides from the tasklist by registering itself as a service, downloads, runs, & ends. - To end the the process on 2000/XP just near Kazaa or browser (depending on where it was injected)´This Downloader is also known as: •Downloader-CV - named by McAfee.• security risk named W32/CIDownloader.A - named by F-Prot. • Trojan Horse - named by Panda. • Trojan Horse.LC - named by Panda. • TrojanDownloader.Win32.Injecter - named by a. • TrojanDownloader.Win32.Injecter - named by Kaspersky. • virus construction tool - named by F-Prot. • Win32/Injecter!Downloader - named by Computer Associates. >> Delete Code Injection Downloader 1.00 automatically - Download Spyware Doctor
