Ever since downloading the test string, different .com files have kept reappearing on my computer. I have to click OK about 100 times each time ONE is detected to remove the hundreds of files using NAV. It keeps saying the Eicar test string was found, and I was never told that loads of .com files would keep reappearing or that I would have to click OK a hundred times. Highly NOT recommended for download - it's almost like a real virus apart from the destructive point of view.

I have been having the same problem as these first two users. I eventually became so fed up that I got rid of NAV, but now with ZoneAlarm, the virus scanner won't work because it's stuck on the EICAR test virus! If you have any info, I hope to find out.
