Gnome description by Meta4:
Creator: ´Gnome is a little application that, when run on a machine, hits a cgi script on the web which then captures the IP, time & whatever name you gave the ´server´ (The script is included). It also pages an ICQ number with the same data, although this relies on the Mirabilis web pager system. Gnome alters the registry to run itself everytime the machine is started, once run it waits till an internet connection made to be detected & then pages the server & ICQ number & then terminates. The edit server application will allow you to change the server address, ICQ number & ICQ ServerName, just open up the Gnome EXE file in it. You can rename the Gnome.exe file to anything you like to make it less conspicuous or bind it to another file. Gnome made to be shrunk using a standard EXE packer, however once done, the variables will no-longer be changeable. To install the CGI script on your server, change the ´#!/usr/bin/perl´ bit to point to Perl on your server then upload it & CHMOD it to 755.´
