2008-09-14 17:05:50, Guest: I know How everyone feels about this invasion of privacy. I was doing a pc scan for viruses and came across Tribal Fusion. I didn't know what it was and this is the first time i am seeing about it. I think that it was responsible for what it did to my mom. My mom got charged $35 on her Atm card for some exercise product called Core-X and she never ordered anything. What was funny about the charge was that it didn't came from her checking account, but from her atm only. I think it somehow hacked its way into her information and into her bank's firewalls to make the so-called purchase go through. Luckily she caught it in time and reported it to the authorities and she told the bank about the security breach in their system as well. My mom was refunded the full amount, but now she has to change all her account information and security codes because the information she has is no longer secure. That,in itself, is a pain-in-the-butt to do. All of you out there have better check your account informations with your creditors and banks for any discrepencies in the billing because you all might be getting charged for buying something you didn't buy. I find it repulsive that these spyware sites think that since they are stealing a measily $35 of credit from all our accounts that we wouldn't care to report it and FIGHT IT!!! I don't care if it is only $35 or $3500. It's still OUR MONEY AND THEY HAVE NO RIGHT TO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When you pool all those measily sums together like $35 times 100,000 people comes to $3,500,000.00!!!!!!!!!! That is the pyramid scheme on a MASSIVE SCALE!!!!!!!! LET'S FIGHT BACK PEOPLE AND SHOW THESE SCAMSTERS THAT WE ARE NOT LAYING DOWN AND TAKING THEIR CRAP ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If enough of us lets the government know about this ill-conceived plan then maybe something will get done, like a massive amount of arrests for internet terrorism. So LETS FIGHT BACK NOW!!!!!!!!!! |
2008-09-15 15:08:30, Guest: a smart lawyer would have field day with their liers |
2008-11-01 15:33:53, Guest: the person who made the tribalfusion thing should get his head chopped off by a drunken monkey...also...i've ran several virus detecting programs and only two of them found it...but i can't even get rid of the damn thing. it just doesn't go away. |
2009-01-14 07:08:35, Guest: If you don't want tribalfusion to collect your data or record your clicks, just go to their website, where their privacy policy has an opt-out option. Your computer will then have just the one cookie that identifies it to the sites as an opt-out address. They don't go out of their way to tell people about this option, but it is there. Try it. |
2009-01-17 20:33:19, Guest: I finally figured out how to remove all those BAD COOKIES!! Click on TOOLS, then click on OPTIONS. In this window, click on PRIVACY, then click on "SHOW COOKIES". This is the place! Then just delete all those bad boys that are on your virus list. |
2009-01-17 21:18:33, Guest: P.S. At this same place, you can also click on "EXCEPTIONS" and BLOCK these sites. I forgot to mention that this is for MOZILLA. If you have Internet Explorer, the procedure is a little different. You still click on TOOLS, but I guess theirs says INTERNET OPTIONS. |
2009-06-02 01:10:37, Guest: I kept getting popups from Smiley Central, which has a Tribalfusion address. Have added Tribalfusion.com to the list of blocked sites, hope that will stop it.
I'm not against smileys as such, (they can be great fun), but the pop ups make irritating noises, such as a voice calling "Yoo-hoo". The first time it happened was quite scarey because of not knowing where it was coming from!
It seems they can also carry spyware, so out they go, (could do with a smiley of a smiley being kicked by a big boot!!!) |
2009-10-07 04:41:12, Guest: Cookies may be placed by web sites that you visit. They offer companies like tribal fusion (lower case deliberate), so be careful where you go. If you did not found cookie before visiting web site and it is there after than that web site sold you for a few cents.
Free game sites and sites that offer you something "free", that's how they roll (well some of them).
And cookie is only a text. They put in there where you've been, what did you do and what pop up did you see. |
2010-02-01 18:59:21, Guest: ive found more than one of these trackng cookies who do we alert about them and get rid of it? |
