bala | 2007-01-11 12:50:19, Guest: I just bought this computer yesterday and havent been to any websites, and havent downloaded anything...Im guessing this is already win winXP! | 2007-01-14 12:03:13, Guest: I recently purchased two identical Gateway laptops for my kids. Both had this trojan, while two other desktops in my home network did not. Therefore, I'm betting these laptops came with this "feature". | 2007-01-15 14:29:34, Guest: Hi to the man who said he bought 2 new Gateway computers and this trojan was on there? That very well COULD BE. I purchased a new computer at Circuit City and they said the games loaded on the computers are filled with spyware and other things and it's best to delete them and never even open the free games. That rule is applied for all new computers. It's amazing that they put that stuff on them and then sell them to us!!!
| 2007-01-15 16:24:27, Guest: Does anyone know where this is coming from? | 2007-01-17 09:46:39, Guest: How do you "unregister a DLL"? Thanks. | 2007-01-24 06:45:19, Guest: I just bought a new HP computer that had this trojan on it.I also didn't visit any webistes or download anything. | 2007-12-05 21:07:54, Guest: Remind_XP.exe is a process belonging to the SoftThinks CD Creator CD/DVD Writer amd serves as a reminder to register for full product support. This is a non-essential process. Disabling or enabling this is down to user preference. Some malware camouflage themselves as Remind_XP.exe, particularly if they are located in c:\windows or c:\windows\system32 folder. Thus check the Remind_XP.exe process on your pc whether it is Trojan.Win32.FTP. | 2008-01-28 21:44:07, Guest: I just did a clean install on my Compaq and I haven't downloaded anything but now I have this trojan. A way to remove it for people who cannot afford $29.95 would be nice. It's what I expected to see here. What about people on disability who can't afford these "toys" but have a trojan to get rid of? | 2008-04-24 07:24:15, Guest: This is B.S. I do go on the web but i do not browse all i do is go on B.net.... Ive had to do a total system restore for my third time yesterday (Takes a frigin Month to recover from that with the stuff i have on my PC) well anyways thanks for the Removal thing my computer has never detected it before now =/. |
