NVM i found it ,go to RUN in the start menu and type in "regedit.exe" or "REGEDT32.EXE" |

Back! do this
1) Click on Start, Settings, Control Panel
2) Double click on Add/Remove Programs
3) Find "Zango" in the list of installed programs and click on Change/Remove to uninstall it. There may also be a program called Media Gateway, remove it as well.
It has worked now for me, I really do hope this works for you aswell....Take care

Zango/Zango search assistant is not under add/remove programs for me, but when I scan my computer it says it is there, and its a very bad infection! |

ZANGO, is not listed in my add /remove programs. And if I go to your removal sites they are all Zango related and that is what I want to get rid of. Any suggestions? |

I have Zango that comes up as spyware I eliminate it but it keeps coming back. I can't find it in the add/remove programs to remove it any suggestions |

Can anyone name the companies that use Zango gathered information? I would not want to give my custom to a company that uses these underhand means of gathering inforation. Like others above I have been unable to delete Zango assistant. |

I found a zango file - go to RUN in the start menu and type in "regedit.exe" or "REGEDT32.EXE then HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT go all the way at the bottom is Zango.desktopflash.1 folder removed that but it did not stop thezango either |

i cant get into my add / remove or that regedit.exe thing to get rid of zango. and now my shortcuts are saying 'file does not have association blah blah blah'. please help |
